অবজেক্ট এবং লেয়ার ব্যবহার
ইনডিজাইনে ৩ ধরনের কন্টেনার ব্যবহার করা হয়। এদের নাম আন-এসাইন্ড, গ্রাফিক এবং টেক্সট। এদের মধ্যে আনএসাইন্ড ফ্রেম ব্যবহার করে আপনি ফিল, ষ্ট্রোক ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে নানাধরনের অবজেক্ট তৈরী করতে পারেন। এজন্য রয়েছে রেকট্যাংগল, ইলিপস, পলিগন এবং লাইন টুল। এগুলি ব্যবহার করে আপনি গ্রাফিক সেপ তৈরী করতে পারেন।

ট্রান্সফরমেশন টুল ব্যবহার করে খুব সহজে এদের বড়-ছোট করা, ঘুরানো ইত্যাদি কাজ করতে পারেন।

একাধিক ফ্রেম আকা
আপনি একবারে অনেকগুলি কলাম এবং রো হিসেবে কোন অবজেক্ট আকতে পারেন।
. আগের পদ্ধতিতে কোন টুল সিলেক্ট করুন।
. যতটুকু যায়গার মধ্যে অবজেক্টগুলি রাখতে চান সেই যায়গা ড্রাগ করুন।
. মাউস ধরে রেখে আপ-ডাউন এরো কি চাপ দিন। রো এর সংখ্যা বাড়বে-কমবে।
. রাইট-লেফট এরো কি চাপ দিন। কলাম এর সংখ্যা বাড়বে এবং কমবে।

রং ব্যবহার
. সিলেকশন টুল ব্যবহার করে নির্দিষ্ট সেপ সিলেক্ট করুন।
. কালার প্যালেট/ সোয়াচ থেকে রঙে ক্লিক করুন।

বড়-ছোট করা বা ঘুরানো
. সিলেকশন টুল ব্যবহার করে ফ্রেমটি সিলেক্ট করুন।
. হ্যান্ডলার ব্যবহার করে ড্রাগ করে বড় বা ছোট করুন। সিফট মডিফায়ার কি ব্যবহার করে সমহারে পরিবর্তণ করতে পারেন।
. মাউস পয়েন্টারকে হ্যান্ডলারের বারের দিকে আনুন, দুদিকে তিরচিহ্নিত আইকন পাওয়া যাবে। এই অবস্থায় ড্রাগ করে ফ্রেমকে ঘুরানো যাবে। রোটেট টুল ব্যবহার করেও ঘুরানোর কাজ করতে পারেন।
. এছাড়া ফ্রি-ট্রান্সফরম টুল ব্যবহার করে যে কোনদিকে পরিবর্তণ করতে পারেন।

লেয়ার তৈরী ও ব্যবহার
আপনি যদি ফটোশপ-ইলাষ্ট্রেটর ইত্যাদি ব্যবহার করেন তাহলে লেয়ার সম্পর্কে নতুনভাবে কিছু বলার নেই। ব্যবহারের ধরন একই।
