ম্যাক এড্রেস কি?
ম্যাক এড্রেস এর সম্পূর্ণ ইংরেজী বিশদ রূপ হচ্ছে Media Access Control Address (MAC Address). কোন কম্পিউটারের ম্যাক এড্রেস হচ্ছে সেই কম্পিউটারটিতে ব্যবহায্য নেটওয়ার্ক ডিভাইসটির জন্য একটি অনন্য পরিচিতি যা কম্পিউটারটিকে তার শারীরীকভাবে পরিচিতি প্রদান করে। এ্টা নেটওয়ার্কের সাথে যোগাযোগ রক্ষা করে এবং কম্পিউটারটিকে সেই নেটওয়ার্কে পরিচিত করে দেয়। কোন ডিভাইসের ম্যাক এড্রেস তার তৈরীকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান সরবরাহ করে থাকে। একেকটি নেটওয়ার্ক ডিভাইসের জন্য একেকটি ম্যাক এড্রেস থাকে।
